Profile of Ryan Collier

Born in to the melodies of the Beatles and the grandiose of Mozart, my affinity with music was established at an early age. I've spent my life since playing and producing in numerous bands, collaborations and session recordings.

My passion for film composition has been influenced by such greats as Clint Mansell, Thomas Newman and Brad Fiedel whose scores transformed the way I looked at music. I believe film requires these considered compositions evoking emotive, compelling soundscapes.

I have learnt from the best and my work is not complete until it reflects these high standards. I want to work with film-makers who strive for the same.
